On Thursday, 24th March 2022, the Ho West District Assembly held its first quarter 2022 Budget Committee Meeting to discuss the 2021 Fourth Quarter Budget Performance and Annual Performance Reports. It is also to develop strategies that will help strengthen the collection of revenue of the Assembly.
The meeting was chaired by the District Coordinating Director, Mr. Wisdom Kporngor and attended by the various Heads of Department and Unit Heads.
The District Coordinating Director in his welcome address thanked staff for their effort to improve upon the revenue mobilization of the Assembly. He however, added that much needs to be done since the running of the Assembly and provision of developmental projects depends on Assembly’s ability to generate enough internally generated funds.
Madam Emefa Degboe, the District Budget Analyst presented the 2021 Budget Performance and Annual Performance Reports. The documents were discussed by members and approved as a working document of the house. Plans and strategies to help in the effective mobilization of revenue were also outlined.
